When you grow up in Duluth, chances are you have a favorite spot where you remember fondly from when you were little. For Parker and Nicole, that spot was Lester Park in the East end of Duluth, so naturally it make the perfect backdrop for their engagement session.
While it was pretty cold for their session, there was a fairly fresh layer of snow on the ground, and the pine trees were in full glory. It really was a beautiful session and there weren't too many other people out and about that day.
When we finished up at Lester Park, we headed down the street a couple of blocks and took some photos right on the lake, because the ice looked super cool that day. It has been a pretty mild winter so far, and this was the first I remember seeing ice on this side of the lake. It was so windy and freezing right on the lake that we only spent a couple of minutes down there!
I think that Parker and Nicole are secret fans of the cold, because after their session, they were going to a hockey game! I went home and laid under a heated blanket for the rest of the night ;)
