Duluth Cathedral and Harborside Ballroom Wedding | Mike and Meghan

mike and meghan wedding 25.jpg

It rained ALLLLLLL day....

"Rain is just confetti from the sky".... and Mike and Meghan had a whole lot of confetti.  Thankfully they had FABULOUS locations for their wedding, so for most of the day, we were able to stay comfortably dry :).

Mike and Meghan are a really fun couple who hold their loved ones close.  They served craft brew from their home towns, and they roasted their wedding party AND each other at the reception.  It goes to show, that just like their grandparents said, laughter is the key to marriage.

I just love these two so much, and their families!  Congratulations you two!

Brighton Beach and Clyde Iron Works Duluth Wedding | Michael and Stephanie

michael and stephanie blog 1.jpg

Stephanie definitely has an eye for details.  When I met with them about their wedding, and she was planning on incorporating jewel tones, obviously I was in love.  On her and Michael's wedding day, this beautiful color story unfolded, and Stephanie not only personally planned how everything was presented, but she had a hand in most of the making of the details.  First off, she made all of the bouquets, and when you see them below, you are going to faint!  Each bridesmaid had a different color dress in the jewel tone family, with a matching bouquet.  The coordinating guy had a tie and pocket square that matched the dress, AND a matching boutonniere, and you guessed it.... Stephanie made those too!  When I say that she thought of everything, I'm not kidding!  Let's talk about those pocket squares, a detail most often forgotten.... Stephanie personally folded each and every single one of them and they looked AMAZING!!!!

I don't really need to say anything about Michael and Stephanie's love for each other, because well..... you can easily see the amount of love in their photos below.

One funny thing that makes me smile, whenever I think about their wedding.  Throughout the day, Stephanie would so politely ask if I could get photo grouping of Michael and Stephanie and some of her guests.   She asked me like she was inconveniencing me... THAT is just how sweet she is.  I, of course, kept telling her she could have whatever she wanted!  Other than being one of the hottest days this summer, it was the perfect day!

DECC Wedding in Duluth, MN | Matt and Sarah

Let me confirm.... Matt and Sarah make 90 degrees and humid look GOOD!!!!  I still cannot get over how beautiful everything was, it was so worth standing in blazing sun.

When I initially met with Matt and Sarah, I instantly adored them as a couple.  Sarah knew exactly what she wanted to see for their wedding day, and it left me gushing over every detail.

Sarah has the best taste, as you will see in her dress, shoes, head piece.... need I say more?  Of course, when gold is your accent color for your wedding, I am instantly going to love everything!

What I love about Matt and Sarah is that they clearly show their love for each other, but they aren't afraid to also show their sense of humor.  It made the day filled with romance and fun.

It may have been so hot, that ice cream was a requirement... you'll see.
