Brian and Peter’s wedding marked the last celebration I documented in 2011. I simply couldn’t imagine a better wedding to end the year with. Peter and Brian planned an evening wedding in one of the coolest locations I have ever created in – The Five Events Center. An amazing wedding goes way beyond any location or detail. It is about the people that make the story. Their wedding was intimate, thoughtful, and joyous with a bit of humor sprinkled in. (Butler passed Taco Bell at Midnight. You have to love it!) I cannot think of a better way to start a week than featuring an amazing wedding! Julia and Ryan have the most fun sense of humor. I haven’t laughed with a wedding party as much as theirs in a long time. Julia and Ryan have incredible spirits. Their entire celebration was photographic wonderland. I am positive there is something extra special in the water near New London – Spicer. Over the last year, I have photographed three weddings of couples from the area. Each celebration has been filled with the most incredible people on the planet. Heidi + Nick’s wedding is no exception. They are the very definition of what makes a true Minnesotan – genuine, nice people with a solid work ethic who value family and friends. Heidi, Nick and their entire family truly made me feel part of their entire day.
